What is Willow Birth?

Willow Birth is an association of pregnancy childbirth providers based in Portland,  Oregon. Our mission is to promote and foster integrative community involvement from conception to birth resulting in more informed birth choice resulting in better maternal and infant wellbeing. Willow Birth offers a referral service for all things birth and pregnancy related including products, medical  and support providers. In short, our mission is promote Peace at Birth for the mother, child and family.

Who are the members of the Willow Birth?

Members of Willow Birth come from all faiths, cultures and background. It is our goal to create a diverse and welcoming community for women during the childbearing year.  Willow Birth membership is open to any childbirth professional, including (but not limited to): midwives, doulas, physicians, nurses, social workers, massage therapists, childbirth educators, lactation consultants, naturopaths, chiropractors, hospitals and birth centers.

Who benefits from Willow Birth?

Willow Birth serves all women from any race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, sexual history, marital or financial status, age, medical condition or handicap.  We primarily serve women in the Portland Metropolitan area but the resources are available to anyone.
